At Sapienza Montessori, we come together to celebrate milestones, holidays, and our community​​​​​​​​​​​.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
Throughout the year, we celebrate children's birthdays through sharing how far they've come with a ritual called "Walking around the Sun" where they hold a globe and walk in a circle around a sun for each year of their life.
In September, we celebrate The International Day of Peace by wearing white and singing "Light a Candle for Peace" on the same day as Montessori schools all over the world.
Additionally, Sapienza celebrates diverse cultures with special events and entrepreneurship with a children's market ("El Mercadito").
