"Otanis is a very caring, very affectionate guide. She would encourage Ryker’s growth, without forcing anything. I always trusted that she noticed Ryker’s strengths and weaknesses and was helping him to grow into a more independent child. Otanis often communicated with us on his accomplishments, and shared how we could be involved in his development. I would HIGHLY recommend Otanis as a Montessori guide, and I loved how much my child loved her. Every morning as we were getting ready to leave, he would sing her name and be excited he would get to see her. Otanis’ work laid the foundation of developing a love for learning in Ryker. He lit up when he saw her. The affection and trust I saw between them was sincere. I only hope he continues to nurture the love of learning she inspired."

"Otanis is a very enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated guide. Paloma loved working with Otanis and it was clear that Otanis loved and cared about her, too. As a parent, I always felt that I was leaving my child in good hands. We never had any concerns. I feel that Otanis respected the autonomy and interests of our and helped her to gain a love of school.Paloma would often talk about things that she learned from you, especially songs, dancing, and some of the cultural things that the school promoted. I feel that Paloma is more confident, self-assured, and curious because of her time with you!"

"Cinndy was an absolute gift as a teacher and to our daughter’s Montessori experience. She was incredibly warm, loving, and respectful of the students. She knew my daughter’s strengths as well as areas of growth and how to challenge her. I knew everyday that my child was in excellent hands and my daughter would come home extremely happy. We cherished our time with Cinndy. The first week our daughter came home from Montessori, we noticed a huge change in her confidence, how she played with her toys and how she contributed to the household (as a 2.5 year old). Cinndy was so patient with our daughter’s need to explore and provided an environment in which she was safe to do so. Cinndy helped my husband and I to see needs that our daughter had, such as sensory play and the space to explore. She was like a partner in our parenting. Cinndy was an absolute treasure and could not have imagined our daughter’s first school experience without her. She made us feel welcome with any question or concern we had and truly knew our daughter's academic and social and emotional needs.

I would describe the overall teaching skills and performance of Cinndy Cruz as a Montessori guide as exceptional. When trusting teachers with our beloved little ones, you can only hope for someone who will teach them with the same love and respect you give them at home. What we found with Cinndy is that her warm nature and consistent patience and positivity gave our reserved, cautious child the confidence to develop a relationship not just with her, but with other children as well. He was in her care for over two years and during that time grew, changed, learned and flourished. We were very lucky to have her in his life during such a crucial time of transition and development. I would very much recommend both Cinndy as a Montessori teacher! This method of teaching has allowed our son to develop at his own pace in the ways in which he is developmentally ready to do. There is lots of freedom within a framework that allows the child to make many of their own decisions, building both confidence and skills. There is no question that if our child had not felt 100% supported and loved under Cinndy and Otanis's care, that he would not have blossomed as he has. The academic milestones have always come easily to him, but the social and emotional aspects of learning and growing have been more challenging. He needed teachers and guides to meet him where he was as a child, as a human, and as a student and really connect with him personally. Both teachers were able to do that with kindness and love. He is a healthy, happy child due to the contributions during his time at Montessori school that both Otanis and Cinndy have made.

"Otanis is an incredible Montessori guide. Otanis helped us feel comfortable when we joined the school and was always a great guide to our son. I know that my son was comfortable and safe in her care, and she truly treated our son with compassion and love."

"Cindy was a wonderful guide. Paloma genuinely loved and respected Cinndy and seemed to thrive under her care and instruction. I had an opportunity to observe Cinndy teaching when we were virtual for some of 2020. She seemed to be well organized and connected with/engaged with each student. I am confident that the in-classroom experience was even better. We also appreciated the thorough and regular updates on Paloma’s progress - we felt that she was knowledgeable about her progress and helped us to manage expectations about Paloma’s development. It was also very helpful that Cinndy spoke English and could communicate with me (a non-Spanish speaker)."

"Cinndy was our son’s Montessori guide for 3 years. In that time he not only became almost fluent in Spanish, including reading and writing, but he also became a confident, kind, curious kid. She was very warm and kind while setting boundaries for the children. She was like another parent. She shared her language, culture and kindness with our child and we will be forever grateful. Honestly by the end of our time together, she felt like another member of our family. We feel extremely lucky that she is part of our lives!"

"Cinndy was a wonderful guide for two of my children. She was kind, patient, and loving while teaching them both Spanish and independence via the Montessori method. They flourished in her care and I appreciated knowing that they were cared for by someone who treated them like family. They are bilingual, self confident, and have a love of learning."
